Every unit is a single item. What you see in the photographs is the unit you receive — no stock imagery, no representative models. All prices are ex works Switzerland and exclude VAT.

Our stock is not a warehouse — it is whatever came out of the laboratories that closed this month. That means two things. What you see today is a snapshot, and what you need may well walk through the door in six weeks.
How a search request works. You tell us the instrument, we keep the note on file. When a unit matching it comes out of a decommissioning, you hear from us before it goes on the site — usually with photographs the same day it is documented.
No fee, no obligation, no subscription. If we never find it, you never hear from us again. We do not pass your details to anyone and we do not send newsletters.
Honest limits: we cannot promise a specific model, and we will not chase a unit we would not buy ourselves. If your instrument is one we rarely see, we will say so instead of leaving you waiting.
How buying works
No checkout. Instruments at this value are bought against a quotation, and most buyers need one for their purchasing department anyway.

Enquiry
Tell us the reference number and where the instrument is going. We answer with availability and anything the listing does not cover.

Quotation
A written quote with price, condition statement, what is included, packing and estimated freight cost to your location.

Inspection
Additional photographs, detail shots or a video call with the unit in front of us. Viewing in person by arrangement.

Payment and release
Payment in advance by bank transfer. The unit is reserved for you from the moment we confirm the order.

Packing and collection
Crated for transport, sensitive units secured accordingly. Your forwarder collects, or we arrange one for you.
Shipping and export
We ship from Switzerland, which is outside the EU customs union. That is routine, but it means paperwork — here is who does what.
Terms
Default is ex works Switzerland: the price covers the unit, packing and loading. Freight, insurance, import duties and taxes in the destination country are the buyer's. If you would rather we organise transport, we will quote it separately.
VAT
All prices exclude value added tax. Swiss VAT is added for deliveries within Switzerland. Exports are exempt from Swiss VAT against proof of export; import duties and taxes in your country are yours.
Documents
You receive a commercial invoice, packing list with weights and dimensions, the customs tariff number and the Swiss export declaration. Decontamination confirmation is included where the instrument requires one.
Export clearance
Some laboratory equipment is subject to export control. We classify every unit before it is listed and handle the Swiss side. For certain destinations we will ask about the end use and the end user — this is a legal requirement, not a formality.
Condition and warranty
Sold as is. Where a listing states that a unit has been function-tested, that test is described. Where it has not, we say so rather than implying otherwise.
